It has been a true pleasure to help DriveElectricTN grow into the impressive statewide initiative that it is today. Our team in Knoxville and our stakeholders have achieved a lot; projects completed, local Chapters created, tens of thousands of Tennesseans reached. In two years, DET has become a powerhouse!
A huge thanks to our departing DET Coordinator
I’m sure there’s been a little bit of trepidation as some of you have learned that our DET Coordinator, Virginia Salazar Buda, has stepped down from her position. Virginia received an opportunity to pursue graduate studies full-time, and it was one of those opportunities that one cannot really say ‘no’ to.
All of us at DET and TNCleanFuels want to express our genuine thanks to Virginia for ably helming our program to its successes over the past two years. We could not have gotten this far without you, and we wish you the very best as you pursue this exciting new chapter. Thank you, Virginia!
Our team is growing and changing
The rest of the DET team is hard at work as we search for a new Coordinator to develop our initiative. Every member, stakeholder, and supporter can rest assured that we’re working hard to preserve our momentum and continue growing DriveElectricTN into the statewide voice for EV adoption that we know it can be.
In addition to bringing on a new full-time Fiscal & Membership Coordinator for our non-profit, we’re hard at work preparing to fill the DET Coordinator role. We want to thank our partners at the Institute for a Secure & Sustainable Environment and the University of Tennessee for their assistance in this process. We’ll keep in touch; expect an announcement soon about this position!
If you have any questions about DET’s future or the upcoming search for a talented, passionate individual to lead our initiative, feel free to reach out to Daniel Siksay at email@example.com.
